UW Idol Open Call
9 p.m. Friday at Union Ballroom
This is an open call for all University of Wyoming singers. Students interested in auditioning must sign up at the Campus Activities Center in the lower level of the Union. The first 100 to sign up are guaranteed a spot. 30 second time slots are allotted for each performer and they must sing a cappella.

Greyweather at the Crown Bar
9:30 p.m. in Cheyenne
The Crown Bar welcomes Fort Collins based band Greyweather for two nights to play a mix of original and cover tunes. This cello-led band has plays at the Crown monthly. Last year they played at the Cheyenne Brewer’s Festival and were part of the Fridays in the Hynd concert series.

Colorado Avalanche v Edmonton Oilers
1 p.m. Sat. at the Pepsi Center in Denver
It is family night at the Pepsi Center. The Colorado Avalanche are struggling this season and need all the support they can get. Take advantage of the special price and cheer the home team to victory.

cook up their latest invention, anything is possible. The Disney Channel is taking its popular children’s show Phineas and Ferb on the road and the whole gang has escaped from TV land and landed on stage in Denver.

Craft Beer Tour
4 to 6 p.m. Fri. in Denver
The Mile High City is known for its outstanding brews. Take a guided tour to some of the cities breweries and pubs for a taste of some of the best microbrews in the Rocky Mountains. The tour is limited to 15 people, so register early.
