Dear UW Students,

With the conclusion of our home basketball season, on behalf of our coaching staff, I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for coming out to show your support at each of the basketball games this season.

The student body is one of the most important pieces in building a successful basketball program and with your continued support, we can continue to make the Arena-Auditorium one of the most intimidating places to play in the Mountain West Conference and the country.

Two years ago, when we returned to improve the program, you didn’t know any of us. The men’s basketball team was coming off of back-to-back seasons with 10 wins and 21 losses, and we realized that school spirit was waning. However, that did not stop you from coming out and showing your support of our team and the basketball program. In those two years, we have had the fortune of knocking off three top-25 ranked programs and having an outstanding home non-conference record (19-0 over the past two seasons).

Going forward in future seasons, we hope to continue to have your support and gain additional support from your peers. It is our hope that we have helped make the past two seasons fun and exciting for you. We strive to continue to build the program and give you a product that you can all take pride in and be proud of.

Thank you again for all of your support and please come see us anytime if you have any ideas or suggestions on how to continue to improve the student and general attendance for all home basketball games.
