Faculty, staff and student representatives weigh in on presidential search

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees met today mostly to discuss the policy and issues circulating Interim President Dr. Dick McGinity’s title. Policy issues revolved around the selection process by which the Board is expected to follow. Faculty Senate, Staff Senate and ASUW voiced their representative opinions on the issue of selecting a permanent president for the university.

A quick open-statement forum brought individual Deans and Professors to the table to raise their questions, but not to hear them answered. Board President David Bostrom conveyed the board’s appreciation for opinions before closing the doors for executive session.
