LIAR! LIAR! PANTS ON FIRE!
The University of Wyoming Theatre and Dance department is putting on its performance of David Ives’ update of Corneille’s “The Liar.” The fourth wall breaking comedy will take place in UW’s Performing Arts Studio Theatre. The show runs tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
IT’S NEVER TOO EARLY FOR CHRISTMAS
Beta Sigma Phi is putting on their 35th Annual Holiday Bazaar at the Albany County Fairgrounds Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees can pick up gifts and decorations, as well as enjoy breakfast and lunch and participate in hourly drawings for gift certificates. All proceeds go towards local charities.
DIGNITARIES AND BIRDS
The Gryphon is hosting a modern interpretation of Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Emperor and the Nightingale.” The play will feature child actors and is appropriate for all ages. Put on by the Children’s Musical Theatre Workshop, it will be performed tonight at 7 p.m. and tomorrow at 4 p.m. and tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for kids at the door.

Albany County Public Library is hosting its annual fall book sale tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Admission is free and the event is open from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. tonight and tomorrow, and from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
FANTASTIC FOREIGN FABRICS
Sponsored by a joint effort between Milaap, Quilt Essentials, and the Gender and Women’s Studies Program, will take place in the Union Ballroom. The event will take place Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. Attendees will be able to watch Bollywood and belly dancing performances, as well as will have the opportunity to buy Indian textiles. All proceeds will benefit the Aarti Home, a children’s orphanage in India.
