The body of a nineteen-year-old male UW student was found in White Hall earlier today following suicide by asphyxiation.
Chad Baldwin, director of Media Relations at the University of Wyoming confirmed the death.
“I can confirm that there was a student death in White Hall today, a 19-year-old male. It appears to be a suicide by asphyxiation.”
He also said he expects the university will deliver a message to the campus community encouraging people to seek campus counseling resources.
The death comes a week another student’s body was found in the parking lot of White Hall. The identity of last week’s student was confirmed as Martin Oppenheimer.
