Keen has written songs for legendary musicians including; George Strait, the Dixie Chicks, The Highwaymen, Lyle Lovett, Joe Ely, Nanci Griffith among others.
His performance has been promised to be explosively entertaining,
“We have already done over $6,000 in ticket sales, and are excited for the of legal age crowd to join us on Thursday to dance and enjoy themselves,” owner of The Cowboy Saloon Gary Hopkins said.
The doors will open at 7 p.m. ensuring enough time for social shenanigans to commence before the performance begins.
The Cowboy Saloon has proven in the past to be the perfect space for live performers to entertain. The large open dance floor invites people in high volumes to get their bodies moving to the music. There is also the bar space for people who would like to socialize with the live music being enjoyed in the background.
Keen is a truly entertaining performer who has had a long and steady successful career.
“I always thought I wanted to play music, and I always knew that you had to get some recognition in order to continue to play music,” Keen said on Facebook. “But I never thought of it in terms of getting to be a big star. I thought of it in terms of having a really, really good career and writing some good songs, and getting onstage and having a really good time.”
Robert Earl Keen and the Robert Earl Keen Band are currently on a tour of select U.S. states, with Laramie being added to their tour date list. Don’t hesitate to take advantage of this opportunity to hit the town to enjoy some great music and get a little footloose at a great venue.
