Outside of the debate over Senate Bill #2593, one other bill was passed, and three new senators were sworn in: Aiden Goldstein of the College of Arts and Sciences; Alex Gunter of the Business College; Britan Woody of the College of Engineering.
The only other piece of legislation considered and passed was Senate Bill #2596 Approval of Funding for SLCE Office Renovations. According to the bill, the Service Leadership and Community Engagement would benefit from the currently planned renovation for the Union and $22,000 from the ASUW reserve would allow them to take part of the renovations.
This bill was passed unanimously before the rest of the agenda was tabled and the meeting was adjourned.
