Get down at the Downtown Mash Up
UW and the Laramie Street Alliance are hosting a night of food, games and live music 7 to 11 p.m. Friday in downtown Laramie at the corner of Second and Custer streets. UW Parking and Transit buses will run between downtown and campus bus stop east of Orr Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. Music includes performances by Laramie bands The Woodpile and Franklin Good Boy, Fat Stallion of Fort Collins, Colorado, and the UW pep band. Students can compete for a $500 scavenger hunt cash prize and participate in an interactive mural project showing Laramie landmarks. Other activities include UniWyo’s giveaway of 1,000 stainless steel water bottles, wagon rides 7 to 9 p.m. provided by draft horses Pistol and Pete from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and an on-site photo booth.
