Bring your knee pads and putt-putt skills because it’s lights out and glow sticks up this Friday for the Glow Wyo event starting at nine that night. However, if you do not skate or play mini golf, do not worry! Bowling, a slime craft and many other activities will be offered as well as free food. The event as a whole is for all ages and open to the entire Laramie community.
All of the activities will be in the upper level of the Wyoming Union starting that night at nine and going until midnight. The bowling will be held in the Union Family Room, the mini-golf will be in the West Ballroom, the roller skating in the Central Ballroom, and the slime craft will be in the Warm Valley Room. There will also be a double feature of The Incredibles the same time in the East Ballroom and there will be Just Dance in the Senate Chambers. Both of these events are also open to the public, but are not a part of the glow festival occurring.
The 7220 Entertainment Late-Night Events Committee, a part of the 7220 Entertainment group that has put on multiple UW events like the Presidential BBQ earlier this fall, is putting on yet another public engaging event for University of Wyoming students and Laramie residents to mingle and have a good time. Everything will be provided, including roller skates, but there is a limited supply of the skates, bowling balls and slime so all activities are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Individuals needing assistance to attend the Glow-Wyo event should contact the Campus Activities Center at (307) 766-6340 to communicate all concerns.
