December 7th at 0500, the University of Wyoming’s Cowboy Battalion was on the road rucking down to the Laramie Soup Kitchen in single digit weather. This is known as our Santa Ruck March, an annual tradition the cadets do every December to wrap up the year. This gives us a chance to give back to the community and spread some Christmas cheer. Every year our mission remains the same but, we raise our goal. As Laramie and our battalion grows, we hope to continue to bring enough non-perishable food to help the community get through the holiday season.
