After being cancelled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, Laramie Jubilee Days will return this year from Saturday, July 3 until Sunday, July 11.
The itinerary for this week will kick off with a pre-event, a bull rider Calcutta, on Thursday, July 1. This event begins at 6 pm at the Holiday Inn.
A kids’ horse show will be held on Saturday, followed by a ranch rodeo on Sunday. Both shows will take place at the Albany County Fairgrounds and are free to the public.
The carnival kicks off on Wednesday the 7 from 5 to 10pm. Junior bull riding will also be held Wednesday, starting at 7 pm at the Albany County Fairgrounds.
Thursday has plenty of excitement in store, with a Mariachi band performing at 4 pm, a jalapeno eating contest at 5:30 pm, and performances from Danno in Wyo and Leslie Tom from 6 pm to midnight. All events take place downtown, and the carnival will be from 3 to 11 pm. There will also be bull riding at Albany County Fairgrounds starting at 7 pm.
The fun continues on Friday the 9 with the PRCA Rodeo Performance at Albany County Fairgrounds at 7 pm. The carnival will go from noon to midnight, and the downtown schedule has plenty of performances in store.
The PRCA Rodeo will start at 7 pm again on Saturday, July 10. The carnival will continue from noon to midnight, and more performances from artists will be held downtown. There will also be a parade starting at 9:30 am and a brewfest from 1-6 pm.
The final rodeo performance on July 11 will be at 1 pm and an art festival will be held at the Laramie Plains Museum from 10 am to 3 pm.
