The Downtown Laramie Farmers Market is set to return on June 24 from 3 PM to 7 PM in the parking lot north of Depot Park on South 4th Street.
With an ever-changing rooster totaling out to 90 possible vendors, there will be plenty of variety for customers.
“I love the farmers market here. I can’t wait to get some fresh peaches,” Perle Keller, a huge proponent of the local farmers market, said.
Hosted by the Laramie Main Street Alliance and administrated by Kayla Matlock, the
farmers market is a place where shoppers can buy locally produced goods.
“We love to showcase the local vendors, and try to integrate it into the local community,” Matlock said.
“We will have anywhere from 60-90 vendors during each farmers market, all local, and we are very excited to show the community what we have in store this summer.”
There will be a set of musicians on-site to perform during the market, The current musician for opening day is Jake Haffey, a singer, and guitarist.
The market will accept the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and because of the Albany County ARPA Grant, SNAP benefits are doubled each Market.
The market is dog friendly, and has no entry fee.
