Albany County Results
Aaron Appelhans (D) won the Albany County Sheriff race with a total of 6,549 votes, beating out Joel Senior (R) by 526 votes.
“Having lived in Albany County for 20 plus years and being part of the community, I am very familiar with the area, the people, and the issues. The duties of the Sheriff of Albany County require a broad base of knowledge, skills, and abilities in everything related to criminal law, civil law, business law, financial management, leadership, ethics, and emergency response,” Appelhans said.
“I bring the professional skills, training, and certifications needed for every aspect of this elected office.”
Micah Richardson won a seat on the Laramie City Council representing Ward 1, taking 62% of the vote and beating Allison Cunningham by 752 votes.
Brandon Newman won a seat on the Laramie City Council representing Ward 2, beating out Brett Glass by 131 votes.
Erin O’Doherty and Joe Shumay each won a seat on the Laramie City Council representing Ward 3, receiving 2,035 and 1,706 votes respectively.
Pete Gosar (D), with 6,054 votes, and Terri Jones (R), with 5,880 votes, each won county commissioner spots.
Wyoming Results
Mark Gordon (R) won the Wyoming Gubernatorial Race taking a large majority of the vote.
Harriet Hageman (R) won Wyoming’s seat in the House of Representatives with a large majority of the votes.
