Cowboy fans get fired up for Arizona Bowl

The game has almost begun, Wyoming vs Ohio, and fans from both sides couldn’t be more excited to get going in Arizona.

Both the Pokes and Bobcats have put in tremendous effort in preparing for this game, and the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl winner will be determined in the near future.

Fans had a pep rally and tailgating party to participate in, as well as an alumni reception following the pep rally.

The Western Thunder Marching band blew the crowd away with “Ragtime Cowboy Joe” and “The Beer Song” to get their fans fired up, while Ohio’s 110 member band played some less impressive music.

Ali Farhang, the chairman of the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl, got the fans going, and announced to the fans how grateful he was that all of this is possible.

He ended off with his signature phrase, “What time is it? Game time.”

The night went by, as alumni mingled at their reception, taking in the amazing scene that Tucson is.

For some, the warm weather is completely foreign coming from Laramie, WY.

The tailgate began at 10am the next day, and the Pokes showed out big time.

The ratio of Cowboy fans to Bobcat fans was disproportionate, as the scene was flooded with yellow and gold.

Fans made their predictions to win the game, and one Cowboy fan had immense faith in the team.

“I think it’s gonna be a close one… 21-18, Cowboys.”

The tailgate continued, and Western Thunder Marching Band battled Ohio’s 110 Marching Band. It was a great atmosphere, even the Cowboys band director joined in and played with his alma mater; the Bobcats.

The fans have traveled spectacularly, and will make for an exciting matchup.

The game between the Bobcats and Cowboys will be streamed on barstool.tv, and kicks off at 2:30 MST.
