The results for the ASUW candidate elections for the 112 administration are in.
A total of 1,288 votes were cast from UW students. ASUW welcomes Kameron Murfitt, the current ASUW president back to his position for another term. Paden Knull, an upcoming senior, will join him as the Vice President for the new academic year.
Murfitt and Knull won with 51.5% of the final votes, with Gabe Saint and JW Rzeszut coming in second with 48.5% of the final vote.
Out of 28 candidates, 21 were selected to fill the seats of senate. The following were candidates selected by order of the number of votes they received: Cole Schliebe (574), Brooke Culp (484), JW Rzeszut (481), Gabe Saint (449), Sophia Gomelsky (438), Jonathan Brown (433), Lucille Holt (430), Reece Robertson (406), Gweneth Hargett (402), Cameron Moore (400), Calla Shosh (397), Clayton Keasling (369), Nick Bogani (351), Braina Harper (350), Hannah Jackim (343), Will Greiner (342), Maya Worcester (330), Kailee Verdeyen (326), Artemis Langford (301), Edwin Morales (292) and Ray Heffley (284).
The chosen candidates will be sworn in at the last ASUW meeting of the 111 administration on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
