Guillermo “Bill” Brizuela is a candidate running for this year’s election for the Laramie City Council representing Ward 2. Having a lot of ambition when it comes to bettering his community, Brizuela expresses great ideas that are sure to give a lot of citizens optimism for what their community has in store for them.
One major ordeal that Brizuela is concerned about correcting is the issue concerning the development over the Casper Aquifer. The Casper Aquifer supplies drinking water to all homeowners within the Casper Aquifer recharge area and around 60 percent here in the Albany County area. His aspirations are to come up with a long term plan that will help further developing it.
“This is a polarizing issue I understand,”Brizuela said to the League of Women Voters. “But the sooner we can come together and deal with this as a community the better.”
Brizuela, like most of the other candidates, feels that with his appointment to the council he can reduce the unneeded expenses throughout our community. With the decrease in expenses he will then be able to increase the efficiency rates in other areas where our community needs it most.
“I would like to look over our expenses and obligations to see if we can stabilize utility rates,” Brizuela said.
As voters find themselves skeptical on who to vote for this upcoming Tuesday, citizens must remember the candidates who have their best intentions in mind. Brizuela’s intentions to promote his communities might be appealing.
