I wanted to tell you that you wrote an excellent article. I am the recruiting chairman for the college Republicans (may surprise you) and I agree with your assessment or take on the recent petitions. I’m embarrassed that my fellow Republicans are acting this way. It is their right as Americans but it is still embarrassing. I wish you would have used the popular vote (62,615,000 to 59,149,000) as it might have made more sense to the reader on why this was happening, but I wanted to say thank you for addressing this issue. You did it in a very respectful, mature, and honorable way. Great job.
