To bring together the university and the Laramie community for the holiday, the University of Wyoming will be hosting Safe Treat; an all encompassing event for children and parents to explore campus and get into the Halloween spirit.
Sponsored by Residence Life, the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership and the Wyoming Union, this event will take place on October 27, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Activities, such as trick-or-treating, games, and more, will be spread throughout various locations including the Union, the lower-level of Washakie Dining Center, and select Fraternity/Sorority Mall locations.
Parking for the event will be available in and around campus with locations at the Wyoming Union parking lot, the Cooper House parking lot, lots to the north and east of the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts, College of Education Lot, Corbett Lot, and 19th Street.
The Branding Iron will also be hosting a trick-or-treating event at the temporary office location on the main floor of the student union across from CJ’s. All are welcome to stop by.
University of Wyoming Welcomes Families for Safe Treat
The community-wide Safe Treat event for local families returns to the University of Wyoming from 4:00-7:00 pm (Washakie Dining Center at 4:30 PM) on Thursday, October 27th.
Trick-or-treating, mazes, storytelling, games and much more will be available throughout the Wyoming Union, in the lower level of Washakie Dining Center, and select locations on Fraternity/Sorority Mall. Parking will be available in the Wyoming Union parking lot, the Cooper House parking lot, lots to the north and east of the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts, College of Education Lot, Corbett Lot, and 19th Street.
